DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE

What Is DFM?

The DFM is a diagnostic device which directs 13 hertz impulse signals to predetermined bodily locations. It measures the energy state of the patient at the time of the actual measurement. The body is subdivided into seven sections to which various organic focuses are assigned. As a result, we can obtain information about how much energy is to be found in specific parts of the body.

In addition, the DFM allows us to draw conclusions about the regulatory behavior of the body. It enables us to determine, to what extent, if at all, the body is capable of correctly reacting to stimuli in the individual sections. This is always important in cases where we want to check if the patient is capable of tolerating the stress of a drastic treatment of therapy method, of if there is a risk that his energy equilibrium will collapse in the course of that type of treatment.

A DFM measurement chart is like a fingerprint; there are as many different patients. But there are clear indications which exist for physical, emotional, and mental occurrences. Even mental strain leaves physical “traces” in the body.

More than 70% of the patients seen daily by medical practitioners suffer from functional disorders, although clinical findings (X-rays, blood tests, ECGs etc) are not possible or such findings would not explain a relation to the disorders. Functional disorders regularly appear when a living organism is no longer able to compensate a stimulus and this results in a so-called regulatory (reactionary) disorder. This is where a functional diagnostic device such as DFM fit in. It enables a health practitioner to supplement the examination methods and procedures of classical medicine in order to obtain a more wholistic view of a person’s health condition.

Who Can Be Tested?

Normally anyone can be tested. However, the manufacturer recommends not subjecting the following persons to a measurement:

  • pregnant women
  • patients with pacemakers
  • patients with severe cardiac dysrythmia
  • children under age 10

How Is It Done?

The patient removes his socks and places his feet on the designated electrode fields of the equipment table. Then he is given one electrode to hold in each of his hands and, finally, a headband with the electrodes for the left and right side of the forehead is placed on his head. The therapist starts the machine and the whole process only takes about 10 minutes.
Interpretation of the DFM Chart

The DFM results provide an insight into the regulatory capacity of the human organism in a variety of ways. It allows the practitioner to get an insight in to the

  • Material plane: - This involves the three blastodermic layers which are responsible for human embryonic development. Is the first or outer blastodermic layer(ectoderm), the second or inner layer(endoderm) and the third or middle layer (mesoderm)
  • Microbial plane- This involves assessing whether there are virus, bacteria or fungus present and which is predominantly an issue.
  • The Life Circumstances plane – Is the condition likely to have its roots in the physical, emotional or mental levels
  • The Temporal plane – Is the problem rooted in the past, present or will it affect the patient in the future
  • The Mesenchymal plane – This involves the level of the tissues, the blood and the lymph
  • The Color Therapy plane – What colors are most useful to the person

Based on all of this information, the physician will get a picture of the true nature of a person’s complaint. Questions like “What is the most probable reason for the condition (bacteria, virus or fungus)”; “Which is the area of the body most likely to be affected”;  “What are the root causes for the problem”; and “What type of intervention is most useful” will be answered.
